An interview with John Benedetti, tells the story of workers in the Sacramento Shops. Benedetti worked for Southern Pacific from 1935-1970. Benedetti worked in the Sacramento Shops where he started as an Apprentice in the Machine Shops. He later transferred to the Car Department where he became Foreman of the Air Brake Shop.
